Rahmo Ali, who goes by Rahima, attends Nathan Hale High School in Seattle and plans to major in political science.

Sylvie Corwin, a sophomore at Nathan Hale High. She enjoys writing, reading, playing with her dog, and journalism. She plans to teach English after college.

Ronnie Estoque, a junior at Seattle's Cleveland High. He is a staff writer for Cleveland Publications, interns at The Seattle Globalist and is interested in pursuing journalism as a career.

Andy Huynh, a senior at Cleveland High, and a photographer and designer at Cleveland Publications.

Makayla Miles, a senior at Seattle's Rainier Beach High. She loves writing for her high school newspaper and hopes to write for a college newspaper.

Macy Quinn-Sears, a sophomore at Walla Walla High School in Eastern Washington. She wants to pursue her passion for writing through working in journalism, and writing free-verse poetry.

Lucas Rumpeltes, a senior at Cleveland High and staff manager for Cleveland Publications. He hopes to continue his journalistic experience throughout college and beyond.

Ryshun Sampson, also a Cleveland High senior. She hopes to make a difference in her community and gain many experiences through journalism.

Mariah Valles, a sophomore at Auburn High School in Auburn. She is the managing editor for the Invader, her school's yearbook, and she hopes to teach journalism one day.

John Yeager, editor-in-chief of Arlington High School's yearbook and a writer for the school's news website, The Eagle. He plans to attend The University of Washington and study journalism.
