Prepared to succeed?

A national ranking by Education Week looks at each state’s ability to prepare its students for adult success. Massachusetts has placed first every year since the index began in 2008. The early foundations section includes family income and parental education; school years encompasses preschool, test results and enrollment in higher education; adult outcomes tracks annual income and steady employment.
