This map shows the racial and ethnic makeup of 53 Seattle neighborhoods. The orange areas have a higher-than-average share of whites, while purple indicates a higher share of minorities. In general, areas dedicated to single-family housing have the highest proportion of white people, and multifamily zones are more diverse. Click on a neighborhood to see a demographic breakdown by zoning.
