Mapping three years of King County homicides

There were 78 homicide victims killed in King County in 2018. Additionally, seven men were killed last year in confrontations with police. There were 74 homicides committed in the county in 2017, up from 66 homicides in 2016. Eleven people were killed in officer-involved shootings in 2017; in 2016, there were eight people killed in police shootings.

*In 2016 and 2017, all were officer-involved shootings. In 2018, six were officer-involved shootings and one was an officer-involved death.
