A massive loss as Boeing writes off the cost of the 787 delivery stoppage

Revenue fell largely because of a drop in defense and space receipts. Boeing's decision to write off the cost of compensating airlines for late 787 deliveries resulted in $4.2 billion loss in the fourth quarter.
